Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
One of our family traditions is to have champagne and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade while we get the turkey in the oven and everything else prepared for Thanksgiving dinner.
Try my muddled fruit champagne cocktail…it’s not only beautiful it’s delicious and full of antioxidants!!!
Ingredients:
approx. 1/2 cup muddled fruit (I used organic pomegranate, blackberry, blueberry, and strawberry)
1 bottle of champagne chilled (We like Chandon Blanc de Noirs)
Directions:
If frozen thaw fruit in fridge overnight.
Muddle fruit with a muddler or fork. Leave chunky, you don’t want it pureed.
Place approx. 1 tbsp. muddled fruit in bottom of champagne glass and add champagne slowly with glass at a slight tilt.
